South East Asia’s First Pompompurin Cafe Is Coming to Singapore this April!

You’ve seen photos of your friends braving the queue at Harajuku and during your last Hong Kong trip, you just didn’t have the time for this…

No more regrets because South East Asia’s very first Pompompurin Cafe is coming to town this 18th of April!!

[caption id="attachment_4973" align="alignnone" width="300"] Image source: Sanrio’s FB Page[/caption]

For people who are not familiar with Sanrio characters, Pompompurin is a golden retriever dog with a brown beret. The cute little pup loves drinking milk, eating purin (pudding)and enjoys collecting and hiding shoes. He may not be as well known as Hello Kitty but his very adorable character has won the heart of fans and earned the ‘Most Popular Sanrio Character’ title in 2015.

Set to open at Level 4 of Orchard Central,  fans can expect a kawaii experience on all things Pompompurin at the cafe. From the decor, theme colour, to the cutlery, table mats, and a full menu of food and desserts in the figure of Pompompurin.

Covering a space of 1,900 sq ft, the cafe also includes a retail area where fans or converts can purchase a variety of merchandise such as handbags, water bottles, and plush toys. Also, the cafe can only accommodate a total of 78 people. You might want to be early and start queuing up before its go time.

With two Sanrio cafes coming soon in Singapore, do you think a Rilakkuma or Gudentama Cafe will come next?
