SING JAZZ 2018 Returns This April With The Best That Jazz Has To Offer

The annual Singapore International Jazz Festival (SING JAZZ) returns for its 5th edition at Marina Bay Sands Singapore from 6 – 8 April 2018!

This year promises to be bigger and better than ever!

Featuring headliners such as Ms. Lauryn Hill, Jamie Cullum, Lalah Hathaway, Parov Stellar, visionary French artist Sebastian Tellier, Brazilian guitar legend Paulinho Garcia, as well as internationally renowned DJs, Sasha and Ferry Corsten!

SING JAZZ 2018 will be expanded across the Marina Bay waterfront, with 3 stages and over 30 hours of world-class music entertainment!

The Main Stage

The Main Stage will see many big names performing over the 3 days of the festival.

Sebastian Tellier, Paulinho Garcia, Parov Stelar, Gogo Penguin and Weish take the main stage on the first day of the festival.

The second day sees Jamie Cullum take the stage, together with Lalah Hathaway, Tompi, and the Teng Ensemble.

Jeremy Monteiro leads JASSO (The Jazz Association SG Orchestra) on the third day, along with the House of the Gypsies, Brand New Heavies, and Incognito, featuring Omar and Leee John.

Main Stage performances start at 5pm to 10.30pm on Friday, and 4pm to 10.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

The Late Show

No this isn’t the one with Stephen Colbert.

However, this Late Show does have a few big names too.

The first Late Show on Friday will feature Estelle, DJ Sasha, DJ Ferry Corsten, DJ Drem, Soul II Soul, and Tim De Cotta.

The second and last Late Show will see the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill herself, take the stage. Other performers include MAS1A, DJ Nu-Mark, and DJ Jnr Tirso.

That’s not all, this year’s Jazz Festival has a brand new addition in the form of the SING JAZZ Festival Village at the Event Square on the Ebenex Stage by the Marina Bay waterfront.

From 4 – 8 April 2018, the Festival Village will showcase 16 local and regional bands. Pop by from 2pm to 10.30pm on any of the 5 days and catch these live performances free of charge!

What’s more, each day will feature a different music style. Wednesday is Swing Jazz Night. Thursday is a Latin Fiesta. Friday showcases Regional Jazz Stars. Saturday and Sunday will focus on Jazz, Soul, Funk, R&B and Blues.
