After hitting the usual rooftop bars, you find yourself craving for someplace different. You know, a watering hole that has something else to offer other than the usual breathtaking view of the cityscape. Talk about first world problems.

Fret not; because we at DiscoverSG are, as usual, here to your rescue! We have below, a list of six uniquely themed bars. These bars have, besides the stunning panoramic view of the CBD, others to offer. Be it their quirky themes or whacky concoctions, we’re pretty sure at least one of these bars will be able to quench your thirst for something different.

1. Smoke & Mirrors

No, we’re not talking about Imagine Dragons’ album. Though they are admittedly pretty great and Who We Are did make an appearance in The Hunger Games. Sorry what were we talking about? Oh yes the bar Smoke & Mirrors, right.

With its alluring theme, Smoke & Mirrors is a bar whose dimly lit interior adds to its mysterious vibes. Its location atop the National Gallery, on the other hand, naturally adds to the sophistication of the bar. Pamper yourself with delightful tapas such as the Crab Claws With Homemade Chili Dip ($18) whilst sipping away at a refreshing glass of Rainforest Remedy (a mixture of gin, honey and lemon). With its mesmerizing view, alluring interiors and fifteen tempting cocktails, Sleek & Sexy can very well be this bar’s alternative name.

2. Tiger’s Milk Rooftop Bar

It may sound a little alarming, but we assure you that despite its name, this bar doesn’t serve tiger milk. We think.

The first Peruvian rooftop bar in Singapore, raise the roof (or lack thereof) as you immerse in Tiger Milk’s Latin America vibes whilst snacking away on some Sweet Potato & Yam Chips and enjoying some El Diablo (a concoction made of blackberries, cassis, lime and thyme). Located just a few minutes walk from the CBD, we gather it’ll be twice as tough when it comes to refusing after-work drinks.

Hidden in one of the supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, we dare say that not many are aware of the existence of the unique SuperTree by IndoChine. With an unobstructed view of Marina Bay Sands’ skyline, choose between its alfresco seating and indoor lounge before pampering yourself with a glass of Frosted Jade (midori melon, apple schnapps, passion fruit vodka, pineapple and lychee juice). If you’re looking for a head spinning experience, we’d recommend the bar’s open-air rooftop seating that’s equipped with a rotating deck.

Oh, did we also mention that 1-for-1 draught beers are available from 3pm-8pm?

A pretty badass bar, Sum Yi Tai translates from Cantonese to mean third wife. With a Hong Kong mafia-ish theme, this three-storey bar offers traditional Chinese cuisine and whiskey. Soak up its clandestine atmosphere before heading up to the rooftop bar for a refreshing glass of My Mistress’ Cherry (bourbon, cherry liqueur, lime & bitters). Kink-eh.
