Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked tells the story of two unlikely friends – the blonde and popular Glinda and the green-skinned outcast, Elphaba (the Wicked Witch of the West), who struggle through opposing personalities and rivalry over the same love-interest. Ultimately, Elphaba falls from grace.
To date, it has captivated over 50 million theatregoers of all ages, and is already one of Broadway and the West End’s most celebrated, spectacular and successful musicals of all time.
