Another month has just gone by so quickly (time really does fly at this time of the year)! We’re back for another monthly round-up of the events our ambassadors had the chance of dropping in on! From food tastings to ‘do not miss’ events our ambassadors were there to witness the fun and indulge in delicious eats! Here are some of November’s highlights!
1. Nail Deck
Freshly polished nails are a girl’s best friend. Nail Deck is a new app that let’s you customise your own colour and virtually “try on” various hues. Lacquer Bar is the real life counterpart of Nail Deck. Mixing your customised nail polish by hand and in under 10 minutes!
Our ambassador, Diana, got a chance to witness the magic of her own customisable colour being made right in front of her very own eyes!

2. Sarnies
Located amongst busy eateries and bars along Telok Ayer Street is Sarnies. Serving up authentic Aussie grub and the kind of coffee you only indulge in on lazy afternoons, Sarnie has concocted with a brand new menu and we must admit, we’re impressed.
Our ambassador, Valerie had a chance to sink her teeth into Sarnie’s Spicy Buffalo Wings and Texas-style burgers worth every calorie.
The piece de resistance at Sarnies is (surprisingly) a curry pasta dish. Hand cut pappardelle coated in a generous serving of creamy yet bold coconut sauce and topped with a sprinkling of curry leaves, this Indian inspired dish has got us drooling at the mere mention!

3. Flight School

Flying a plane is not an everyday experience and no everyone has the money to do it right? Wrong!
At Singapore’s only private school, Flight School, you can so sit behind the wheel of a Redbird MCX flight simulator. This Redbird MCX provides realistic training with sophisticated full-motion flight simulator.
Our ambassadors Noreen and Nicole headed down to Flight School to have a go at Redbird MCX and they were thrilled at the experience! If you’re keen on piloting your very own plane, Flight School has several programmes available for across age groups and interests!

4. ION Brunch
ION Orchard in collaboration with Tiffany & Co. have created a breath taking walk-in Christmas tree! Standing at 20 meters tall , the glamorous structure features over 2,000 custom-designed ornaments including the famous Tiffany Blue Boxes.
Our ambassador Nicole was there to witness the enthralling walk-in Christmas tree before tucking into a festive brunch at ION Orchard!
It’s not all shopping at ION, with a Acapella Choir and a Santa Meet-and-Greet it’s fun for the whole family!

5. Balvenie
The world’s most handcrafted single malt, Balvenie is renowned around the globe for their award winning malt whiskies.
Earlier this month, Balvenie teamed up with acclaimed photographer James Stroud to showcase the history and the culture behind Balvenie. The showcase’s art pieces highlighted the Balvenie distillery in Dufftown, Scotland.
Our ambassador, Janelle, dropped by the National Museum of Singapore to catch a glimpse of the Balvenie x James Stroud exhibition and experiencing the craft of making whiskey!

6. Alter Ego
Located at Esplanade, Alter Ego offers up both “clean eating” Poke Bowls that Poke Theory is known for as well as a more decadent selection of eats. Bar snacks like Loaded Taters and a mouth watering Chilli Cheese Dog make up the bulk of the menu at Alter Ego.
Our ambassador Nicole dropped by Alter Ego to indulge in some of the delicious (and seriously sinful) fare that Alter Ego is known for!
Best part about Alter Ego? It stays open pretty late and they offer a pretty wide selection of ciders, ales and draft beers!

7. Riverside Grilled Fish
Freshly caught grilled fish isn’t a huge feature in many restaurants, unless you’re at Riverside Grilled Fish. Offering 4 types of locally sourced saltwater fishes drenched in a choice 8 different sauces and 18 ingredients to go with your fish you’ll be spoiled for choice at this Chinese seafood restaurant!
Our ambassador Stephanie got a chance to taste some of dishes up on offer including Riverside Grilled Fish’s Signature Fragrant Spicy Sauce.
