Launched in 2005, MaplestorySEA (MapleSEA) is one of the biggest games to come out of the previous decade.
It overtook Gunbound and Little Fighter 2 as the coolest game to play at the time. Truth be told, the Primary 5 kid in me was enamoured with it.
Fast forward to 2018, the game is turning 13 and MapleSEA is not one to shy away from a huge birthday celebration.
Birthday Celebrations At Bugis+
Happening from 9 to 15 July 2018 at Bugis+, the atrium will be converted into Singapore’s first ever Maplestory Monster Farm.
Fans will get to see familiar in-game monsters make a live appearance at the Bugis+ Atrium. And if you manage to get a selfie with them, post it on Instagram with the hashtag, #MapleSEA13irthday, and stand a chance to win 50,000 @cash!
On Sunday, 15 July 2018, the atrium will be turned over to make way for the Carnival, the culmination of the week-long 13th Birthday celebration of MapleSEA.
Sunday’s events will kick off at 10am with an opening by MapleSEA’s iconic Community Manager Venshi, followed by a day full of stage games such as Maple Bingo, Beethoven Wannabe (which tests your ears and familiarity with the game’s BGM) and Giant Cube.
There will also be Dart and UFO machines for fans to win a variety of prizes from Maplestory and event partners.
If you’re new to the game or have always wanted to try playing MaplestorySEA, you may do so at any of the specially set up computers at the event space.
At 7.30pm, there will be a highly anticipated lucky draw where you stand a chance to win an iPad or even a SecretLab TITAN Tempo Chair!

The CM Astrea VIP pack ($55) comes with a free goodie bag that includes an event T-Shirt, a random plush, an event scarf, a stress ball, and 3 in-game items.
