15 Must Eat, Must Drink And Must Try Spots In Singapore!

Singapore is jam packed with amazing restaurants, cafes, bars and local attractions. Let’s be honest, Singapore has such a wide variety of attractions that it can actually be pretty difficult to choose which to do. Do not fret. We’ve sourced 15 places in Singapore you MUST add to your Singapore bucket list!

PSA: This bucket list is strictly for Singaporeans, so don’t expect places like the Singapore Zoo on here. Even though we must admit our national zoo is really amazing.

MUST TRY

1. Take A Hike @ MacRitchie Reservoir’s TreeTop Walk

[caption id="attachment_15585" align="alignnone" width="1024"]treetop NParks.gov.sg[/caption] [caption id="attachment_15586" align="alignnone" width="960"]1-map NParks.gov.sg[/caption]

Located in MacRitchie Reservoir, the TreeTop Walk (TTW) is first free-standing bridge in Singapore and in the region.  Connecting the two highest points (Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang) in MacRitchie, the TTW offers a bird’s eye view of the sprawling rainforest below! The total length of the walkway is about 250 m with the highest point at 25 m!

Get your hiking shoes ready because there are 2 main routes that will get you to the TTW. Both of which are moderately difficult to tackle. The shorter of the two route spans 7km and will take about you about 3-4 hours. Starting from Venus Drive, this route will take you through the northern and north-western part of MacRitchie Reservoir. The longer route spans an astounding 10km and will take you about 5 hours to tackle! However it’s the best route if you want to take in the whole MacRitchie as it takes you from the eastern side of MacRitchie right up to TTW!

A perfect weekend date if you’re looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the TreeTopWalk lets you truly experience the natural wonder of Singapore’s rainforest! Best part? It’s free!

7 Ladies’ Night Deals In SG You & Your Gal Pals Need to Know

We have a love-hate relationship with Wednesdays. With it being the third day of the week, Hump Day starts from hours 6AM to 6PM and turns into Ladies Night when the Sun goes out.

For those who are unfamiliar with the concept of Ladies Night, it is a night where women get special deals just to be present at a venue. This can range from free entry to discounts to lucky draws at bars and clubs where Ladies Night is observed.

While Ladies Night typically happens on a Wednesday, some watering holes do organise it on other days of the week instead, like kyō which hosts it on Thursdays instead. Without further ado, here’s our list!

1-Altitude

Whether you’re a rooftop bar connoisseur or a first-timer to skyline parties, we strongly advise taking the elevator all the way up to the 61st floor where 1-Altitude is located.

Deal: Ladies enjoy free entry into 1-Altitude all night long, along with $10 Martinis available as well.

Open four nights every week, dance club kyo is a little different from its peers with its Ladies Night being held on a Thursday instead of a Wednesday. But you can be sure to still have a good time letting your hair down and moving your feet to the music.

Deal: Ladies will get to enjoy free entry into kyo on Thursday nights, and receive free vodka cranberry from 10PM to 2AM.

If you’ve never partied in Marina Bay Sands, much less its SkyPark, which is 200 metres above sea level, this is the time! Not only is it one of the most upscale bars in Singapore — and the region — it also boasts one of the most breathtaking views you can enjoy with a drink in one hand and a camera in the other.

Deal: Ladies enjoy free entry into CE LA VI, and one glass of house wine every Wednesday.

But once you look a little deeper, you’ll find that it is notoriously cheeky, i.e. the perfect place for you ladies to spend an evening at. Its Ladies Night, which is held on Thursdays, is affectionately dubbed G-Spot Ladies Night. Why? Just look over at its menu and you’ll see suggestive drink names that will leave you giggling in your seat.

Deal: Discounted drinks aplenty. Housepour spirits are priced at $5++; Lychee Martini, Mojito, Bellini at $10 ++; Jagerbombs at $10 nett; Blowjob, Orgasm, Slippery Nipple and Sex on the Beach at $5++
