If you only have $10 to spend, choose from their six styles of grilled chicken- Chargrill, Black Pepper, Crispy Fried, Hickory BBQ, Teriyaki, and Lemon Lime. Each piece comes served with two side dishes of your choice, and the damage is a mere $9.90.

Their spaghetti meals, which includes the soup of the day, range between $8.90 and $9.90, and fish (served with two side dishes as well) costs $10.50.

Following its success at Kreta Ayer, 49 Seats opened its second outlet at Orchard Central last year. Try their signature Tom Yum Seafood Pasta ($14.90) or Old Fashioned Fish & Chips with Al Scampi Sauce ($16.90).

Their Creamy Smoked Duck Pasta ($14.90) has also received good reviews! Other pasta dishes range from $10.90 to $13.90, and good ol’ Fish and Chips goes for $12.90.

On a side note, no, the cafe does not have 49 seats.

Hot Tomato is a specialised grill house famed for offering good and filling meals.

A plate of Carbonara or Smoked Bacon Aglio Olio will set you back $9.90. So does a dish of Rotisserie Chicken Rosemary, which comes with a side of mashed potatoes.
