“Some people live to eat, others eat to live. But I am sure we all agree that food will always have a special place in our stomach, and in our hearts.”

These were the opening words by Minister for Manpower, Lim Swee Say, as he kicked off the annual Restaurant Association of Singapore (RAS) Epicurean Star Award Gala Dinner.

The purpose of the dinner? To honour innovative F&B establishments that curate unique dining and culinary concepts, and that provide culinary and service excellence.

Alas, this means that the winners are truly the best restaurants in Singapore. Here’s the full list of winners and nominations.

Thanks to RAS, DiscoverSG had the opportunity to attend a media tasting trial at three of the winning restaurants.
