This Thai Bakery Is Baking Up A Storm Of Fluffy Loaves - And You Knead To Try It

Breadtalk can stop talking now. Thai Baàng is here and they are reinventing the bread game.

Located at Kitchener Complex, this bakery may be small, but the bread they churn out isn’t.

Only a few months old, this young bakery already has their customers buzzing about their bread.

Tradition Brings Comfort

Made fresh daily, each bread is baked in a tin container to prevent it from flattening during baking due to the amount of air kneaded into the dough before baking. This helps to keep the bread soft and fluffy on the inside, yet crisp and crusty on the outside.

Besides the traditional flavours such as Kaya, Butter Sugar, and Red Bean, they do have other unique flavour combinations as well such as Banana Chocolate, Basil Cheese, Bacon, Tomato & Egg Mayo, and Curry Chicken Sausage & Egg.

What draws their customers in is that they do not skimp on the ingredients that they use in their bread.

Take the Bacon, Tomato & Egg for example, it actually has rashers of bacon on top of the bread. It’s hard to find big, quality bread that has generous ingredients.

What’s even better is that the bread is not even that pricey!

Prices for the bread are the same for all flavours except for Pork Floss and Chicken Floss.

Prices start from $1.60 for the small size, $2.30 for the medium size and $4.20 for the large size. Honestly, $4.20 for basically a loaf of flavoured bread is really worth it, considering that you can actually eat and taste the ingredients.

Their best sellers are the Bacon, Tomato & Egg MayoCurry Chicken Sausage & Egg, Banana Chocolate, and Mushroom Veggie.

Come between 9 – 9.30am and you might just catch a fresh batch out of the oven!
