And this coming September, foodpanda, in partnership with Sunshine Nation, will be hosting bites & vibes, a pop-up block party at Amoy Street!

Dine from 10 different food stalls at bites & vibes.
Taste the best of Greek food from ALATI, dumplings from Dumpling Darlings, delightful sandwiches and burgers from Park Bench Deli and Burger Joint, empanadas and more from BoCHINche, asian fusion dishes from Ding Dong and cool down with Ben & Jerry’s!

Of course with all this food, you need some drinks to wash it all down and the mixologists from Proof & Co. have got you covered with their refreshing cocktails. PengWine will also be there serving glass after glass of wine and sangria and hosting wine tastings.
If that’s a little too fancy, how about just getting a nice cold mug of beer from Tiger?
The event will also be plastic-free – all packaging will be made from biodegradable sugar cane pulp.

No block party is complete without the activities! Though there’s no retail market here, there are a few activities that you can take part in!
Take part in a workout session by F45 Training or WeBarre, or relax and stretch in a yoga session with Pure Yoga. Ohmmmm….

This month, Amoy St. Bloc Party returns for its second edition!
If you were there for last year’s affair, you’ll remember a rowdy celebration of food, drinks, play and music, with more than 3,000 party-goers.

Expect nothing less at this year’s street festival! Soak up the bustling atmosphere of the area, which houses a bunch of cool, edgy restaurants and bars in a row of colorful shop houses.
Participating chow joints include French-Japanese Izakaya Le Binchotan, Mediterranean Maggie Joan’s, New York cocktail bar Employees Only, Burger Joint, Birds of a Feather, boCHINche, and many more!
Groove the evening away with yummy food and boozy drinks, to live performances, featuring local music acts and an exciting headliner.
The party doesn’t stop there–come night, Ding Dong’s playful restaurant space will be reworked into a retro dancefloor for the after-party.

3. City 65 Music Festival
Because Singapore can’t get enough of its music festivals, here’s the latest one to join the list!
The first CITY65 Music Festival will be taking place this Saturday, within the chill, urban forest vibes of Tin Hill Social Kitchen & Bar.

This is one grill that lives up to its name.

Garang Grill is perfect for those with a garang appetite, with their Western spread mixed with a touch of local flavour.

The MINT Museum of Toys proves just that. Entering the museum is like stepping into a time capsule of old vintage toys and collectible items.

6. Face To Face Noodle House
Authentic Sarawak cuisine isn’t easy to find in Singapore… at all.

Their special noodle recipe traces its roots to Sarawak over 100 years ago. The story begins when the founder’s great grandfather mastered the art of making Jook Sing noodles, one of the rarest forms of noodle-making in existence.
The fresh homemade noodles that he served quickly captured the hearts and stomachs of many Sarawakians.
And Singaporeans too, once they set up shop here in 2015!

The place can get really busy but trust us, it’s worth the wait.

What do you get when you combine French and Japanese cuisine? Le Binchotan!

Named after the white charcoal used to smoke French-Japanese tapas, this super chic eatery dishes some of the best skewers in town.
There’ll be 10% off selected sake bottles in conjunction with the Bloc party! Now, that calls for a Kampai!
5. Burger Joint
Dubbed the best burger in NYC, Burger Joint is all about yummy burgers done to perfection!

From cheese to portobello, and of course, bacon burger, their patties are extremely juicy and well seasoned. Top if off with craft beer (there’s a selection of 16 taps!) and that’s how every day should end.
6. Maggie Joan’s
Looking for Maggie Joan’s can be a lil tricky. It’s an underground Mediterranean restaurant located in the alleyway just off Gemmill Lane (literally a hidden gem).

Famed for their cosy ambience and gastronomical food, every dish here is so pretty that you’ll want to feed your camera first before digging in.
7. Gemmills
Gemmills has a split personality – it’s a cafe by day and a wine bar by night.

Expect a range of fresh pastries, sandwiches and coffee during the day and once the sun is down, bring the vinos out!
8. Birds of a Feather
Sichuan food can be a little intimidating. Just thinking about the flower pepper gives us chills!

But at Birds of Feather, the Sichuan-ness actually enhances the flavours of the Western cuisine served. And the ambience there will make you feel like you’re in Chengdu… well, minus the giant panda bears!
Party All Night
The event might start at 3pm, but once the sun is down (10pm onwards), step into Ding Dong as the playful restaurant space is reimagined into a retro dance floor on this day!

2. Swissotel Vertical Marathon 2016
Bored of the usual run?
How about joining Asia’s most exhilirating vertical race – the Swissotel Vertical Marathon?

Set to take place at one of Southeast Asia’s tallest hotel (226m) Swissotel The Stamford, participants will need to blaze up 1,336 steps over 73 storeys in the shortest time possible.
Hardcore runners, CNN actually named this race as the most challenging race among 11 of the world’s coolest themed runs. Don’t miss the chance to add this to your running credentials!
