This Hawker Stall In Queenstown Sells Fluffy Soufflé Pancakes For Just $1.50 Each

When I was a kid, I looked forward to Sunday mornings because that meant hotcakes from McDonald’s. I never quite understood why their hotcakes made me happy but all I knew was that the more maple syrup I poured and the more butter I spread, the happier I felt.

There’s just something comforting about digging into a plate of pancakes drenched in maple syrup and butter on a Sunday morning.

About a year ago, Insider released a video of the jiggliest most fluffiest pancakes I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Ever since then, everyone forgot about good ol’ buttermilk pancakes because these Soufflé Pancakes were the next big thing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBaRWq0gXAk

Just like any foodie, I searched high and low for affordable Soufflé Pancakes in Singapore.

Until recently, I came across these cute soufflé pancakes selling for $1.50 each at Mei Ling Hawker Centre!

Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle

If you’re not familiar with soufflé pancakes, they’re lighter and fluffier than regular pancakes. Which explains why everyone has been jiggling this dessert for the ‘gram.

You can get these pancakes in cafes and restaurants but they’ll definitely cost you more than $10.

The soufflé pancakes from Sweet Rex comes in a set of 2 for just $3!

[caption id="attachment_34894" align="aligncenter" width="1258"] Image Credit: @foodiegoh[/caption]

The fluffy pancakes from Sweet Rex are freshly made and served with a sauce of your choice – caramel, strawberry or chocolate. It’s everything you ever want in a pancake – light, airy and not too sweet.

If you could bite into clouds, then this is how I’d describe eating the soufflé pancakes from Sweet Rex.

Additionally, the stall also sells cheesecakes and puddings you can get at a low price. Here’s evidence that you can eat good even when you’re on a budget!

There’s chocolate, Thai milk tea, kopi, ginger and matcha pudding – which you can get at $2 each.

We highly recommend getting the Lemon Cheesecake ($3.80) which looks like “tofu”. The cake is a perfect balance of creamy and tangy, making it easy on the palate.

If you’re ever in Queenstown, then head down for Sweet Rex’s affordable desserts. However, they are only opened on weekends, and sporadically on weekdays. If you’re ever heading down on weekdays, best to give them a call!

Who knows? But one thing’s for sure, we’re excited to finally get Tsui Wah’s famous milk tea and treats without having to pay for a flight ticket.

Milk Tea For Days

The most famous Cha Chaan Teng in Hong Kong is undisputedly Tsui Wah Restaurant. Locals and tourists alike flock to Tsui Wah Restaurant for their signature milk tea and crispy bun with condensed milk.

With a network of over 60 outlets in Hong Kong, Macau and China, Tsui Wah manages to maintain its high standards across all their branches.

So for all you Tsui Wah fans, mark your calendars as your favourite Cha Chaan Teng makes a debut in Singapore.

If this is your first time hearing about Tsui Wah, don’t worry. Here are some of the signature items you should try.

Disclaimer: Some of the items may not be in their menu during their opening but more exciting updates are to come as the menu progressively expands in the upcoming months!

1. Crispy Bun with Sweet Condensed Milk

“Crispy Bun served with sweet condensed milk” is Tsui Wah’s reinvention of a classic Hong Kong snack.

[caption id="attachment_34866" align="aligncenter" width="1392"] Image Credit: @zaobaosg.lifestyle[/caption]

Each freshly baked bun is richly coated with thick butter and condensed milk, giving it an irresistible taste that is crispy on the outside and soft inside.

2. Hainanese Chicken Rice

Juicy, boneless and tender, the dish is served with a bowl of flavoured rice made with chicken stock, basil and lemon grass.

[caption id="attachment_34870" align="aligncenter" width="1174"] Image Credit: @7layerdiep[/caption]

Everyone raves about the Hainanese Chicken Rice at Tsui Wah, so if you’re looking for real good comfort food, their Chicken Rice should definitely be one of your choices.

3. Fish Balls & Fish Cakes with Flat Rice Noodles in Fish Soup

If you’re in need of a warm, hearty bowl of soup, this dish won’t disappoint.

[caption id="attachment_34865" align="aligncenter" width="1076"] Image Credit: @missfoodieny[/caption]

Tsui Wah fish balls are made daily with handpicked yellow eels and over 10 types of fresh fish. Some have claimed that they’ve had better fish soups in Singapore, but if you’re looking for a quick, fuss free supper choice, then get this fish soup!

This is definitely the ultimate go-to after drinks at Clarke Quay!

4. Swiss Sauce Chicken Wings

Tsui Wah takes this Cantonese favourite to the next level by marinating the wings with aromatic sweet soy sauce. The wings absorb the sweet soy sauce fully and offer a real treat of juiciness and tenderness.

[caption id="attachment_34869" align="aligncenter" width="1342"] Image Credit: @foodienando[/caption]

This dish is finger lickin’ good, that’s for sure.

5. King Prawns in XO Sauce with Tossed Noodles

This is one of Tsui Wah’s signature items as well!

[caption id="attachment_34868" align="aligncenter" width="1344"] Image Credit: @yuwwie[/caption]

Their king prawns are succulent and fresh! The noodles are slightly chewy and thin. It also comes with chilli on the side for that extra kick.

Honestly, this seems like a dish most won’t mind eating everyday!

6. HK Milk Tea

Saving the best for last, Tsui Wah combines premium Ceylon tea leaves and with many years of teas-training know-how to bring the perfect cup.

With a touch of Holland’s Black & White evaporated milk in a preheated teacup, this milk tea is perfection.

We’re extremely excited for Tsui Wah’s first outlet in Clarke Quay. As much as we’d all love a trip to Hong Kong for a break, I’m definitely happy that we can FINALLY get their famous dishes and milk tea right here in Singapore.

We definitely expect long queues on June 15, so go early to beat the crowd!

(Header Image Source: @foodiesister.id)

McGriddles Is Now On McDelivery – And It’s Available All Day!

2 years ago, a treasure was taken from us.

No I’m not talking about a person. I’m talking about the McGriddles.

[caption id="attachment_34839" align="aligncenter" width="686"] Image Credit: Mcdonald’s Singapore[/caption]

For some reason, McDonald’s Singapore thought it was a good move to remove the McGriddles from their menu. (It wasn’t.)

But yesterday, they dropped a video, hinting at the return of the beloved McGriddles.

This is the video:

https://www.facebook.com/mcdsg/videos/1823963544316877/

Gone are the days of dealing with semi-soggy, somewhat bland McMuffins because the reigning champion of syrup-y goodness that is the McGriddles is finally making a comeback on 7 June 2018.

If you’ve never had McGriddles, what are you even doing with your life? Honestly.

[caption id="attachment_34877" align="aligncenter" width="4724"] Image Credit: McDonald’s Singapore[/caption]

The iconic McGriddles tastes like a spongey McMuffin that has been soaked in maple syrup, absorbing and sponging up all that sweet golden goodness. And it’s used to sandwich an egg, a sausage patty and cheese.

If that doesn’t sound good to you, I don’t know what does.

You know what, that’s probably going to be all I’m eating for the week following 7 June.

We’ll see. In the meantime, McGriddles hurry and make your comeback because I’m hungry.

UPDATE:

So turns out, the McGriddles has quietly slid out of the grill and into our McDelivery menu.

Yes, you can now order the McGriddles via McDelivery!

Apparently it’s also available in McDonald’s outlets islandwide.

Sneaky sneaky McDonald’s. That’s not all, the McGriddles is now an all-day item so don’t panic if you missed the breakfast menu.

Hurry and order your McGriddles here now!

No Frills, Just Damn Good Meat At OG Roasted Meat Stall Toh Kee

I love roasted meat. There’re no words to adequately express my love for roasted pork. There’s no way to properly describe the taste of the crispy crackling resting atop the layers of fatty pork.

Okay this is becoming a little too haram. But you get my point. Like me, there are many other people who love eating roasted meat. It’s commonly found in hawker centres and coffeeshops and it’s a simple meal.

I’m always trying to find a better roasted pork rice than the ones I’ve had. Which brings us to this particular roasted meat stall in People’s Park Complex Food Centre.

Enter Toh Kee Roasted Meat.

Roasted With Care Since 1926

Toh Kee Roasted Meat has been around since 1926 and is apparently the oldest roasted meat stall in Singapore.

[caption id="attachment_34807" align="aligncenter" width="800"] Image Credit: Hardware Zone[/caption]

Must-tries definitely include their roasted duck, roasted pork and char siew. After all, they are a roasted meat stall.

You’ll notice that the roasted ducks hanging in the display are a darker shade than usual. That’s because Toh Kee use a 60-year-old charcoal roaster that’s no longer in production.

So appreciate the roasted meat while it lasts because if this charcoal roaster goes….

Anyway, the duck is seasoned with salt, garlic, spring onions and five-spice powder before being roasted and malt syrup is used to glaze the skin of the duck immediately after.

The result is juicy roasted duck meat with sweet, sticky, crispy skin, served on a bed of braised soy beans which is rare to see nowadays. Because honestly, who eats the cucumbers anymore?

[caption id="attachment_34808" align="aligncenter" width="645"] Image Credit: Burpple User Angeline[/caption]

The roasted pork is perfect, with exceptionally crispy crackling and melt-in-the-mouth fatty layers. The roasted pork isn’t overly salty either. My favourite part is the corner, or last piece of the slice, where it’s just entirely crackling with just a bit of lean meat.

[caption id="attachment_34810" align="aligncenter" width="645"] Image Credit: Burpple User Jankliciouz[/caption]

The char siew or BBQ pork, is leaner than the usual char siew you can get from elsewhere. I understand that most people prefer fattier char siew because lean meat if not done well can be tough.

[caption id="attachment_34809" align="aligncenter" width="645"] Image Credit: Burpple User Angeline[/caption]

However the char siew at Toh Kee is still tender and isn’t too sweet that it becomes jelak.

So far, my only gripe is that the roasted meat is served with white rice. I mean, for the price that I’m paying for the food, maybe ‘chicken rice’ rice would be better?

[caption id="attachment_34811" align="aligncenter" width="645"] Image Credit: Burpple User Alexis Toh[/caption]

The prices here at Toh Kee are a little steeper than usual. A plate of Roasted Duck Rice is $5, while Char Siew Rice and Roasted Pork Rice are $4 and $4.50 respectively.

Then again, I’m willing to fork out a little more if the food is good.

We suggest that you come early if you’re going to order the roasted pork because it sells out very quickly.

Honestly, Toh Kee has managed to perfect roasted meat. All they need to do is pay more attention to the accompanying ingredients. I’m looking at you, white rice.

But that aside, if you’re looking for a change to your usual roasted meat place, give Toh Kee Roasted Meat a shot. Who knows? It might become your new favourite.

Artbox 2018: What To Eat, Drink And Buy To Make The Most Of Your Money

It’s that time of the year again! Artbox Singapore is back for its second run, and promises to be bigger and better than before.

If you’ve been to Artbox last year, you may have left severely disappointed as the event faced an overwhelming turnout. If you’re unfamiliar with the event, it is a wildly popular market that supports local creators retailing everything from beauty, fashion, food and art.

Originating from Bangkok, Artbox Singapore recreates the vibrancy of Thai night markets, but you wouldn’t need a flight ticket this time.

So if you’ve got a bae and some friends, head down to Artbox Singapore which spans over two weekends from 25-27 May 2018 as well as 1-3 June 2018 from 3-11 pm at the Bayfront Event Space near The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

Food At Artbox Singapore 2018

If you saw the insta-worthy food pics from last year, you’ll know that food is the main highlight of the event. Dive into over 160 bustling F&B stalls each weekend for a wide variety of food to choose from.

Here’s what we got that definitely got DiscoverSG’s stamp of approval. Now, the food at Artbox is not Thai-Night-Market-Cheap but we tried out food that’s worth your money and not overly pretentious.

1. Golden Moments

I’m a huge fan of durian. I’m not being biased but this is definitely one of THE best Mao Shan Wang Ice Cream ($9.90) I’ve tried in Singapore.

Just look at it!

[caption id="attachment_34752" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

The bamboo charcoal infused ice cream has a subtle hint of MSW flavour. It is bittersweet and creamy and topped with 24K gold leaves.

I expected it to be jelak after a few bites but I surprisingly managed to devour the entire durian ice cream without feeling sick or heaty. If you’re not a huge durian lover, this ice cream might just change your mind.

It was slightly pricey for what is essentially durian ice cream, but it is definitely worth trying.

This limited edition ice cream is making its first appearance at this year’s Artbox, so if you know anyone who loves durian, you HAVE to bring them here.

If the ice cream is not enough, you can also try their Durian Platter ($18.80) which consists of durian mochi, durian puffs and the ice cream.

[caption id="attachment_34753" align="aligncenter" width="2560"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

If you’re in need of a good dessert, then Golden Moments is a must visit at this year’s Artbox.

2. Saiko

Don’t you just hate it when you buy takoyaki at a pasar malam and you can barely taste the octopus in it?

Serving up Japanese street food realness, Saiko serves takoyaki in sizeable portions with full bite-sized octopus. You can choose from 3 different fillings – octopus, chicken and braised mushrooms. You also have the option of mixing 2 different fillings in one serving.

[caption id="attachment_34760" align="aligncenter" width="4029"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

We got their Classic ($8) which comes with 6 takoyaki topped with bonito flakes, seaweed and torched Japanese mayo.

[caption id="attachment_34759" align="aligncenter" width="3807"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

This was hands down one of the best Takoyaki I’ve had in a very long time. It’s also the perfect bite-sized snack as you walk around Artbox.

3. Cha Tra Mue

When in Thailand, always get their Thai Milk Tea!

The weather was scorching hot and we were in desperate need of a good drink. We walked around and came across a stall selling the famous Cha Tra Mue brand teas.

[caption id="attachment_34761" align="aligncenter" width="4032"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

You no longer have to ask your friends to buy you a packet of instant Cha Tra Mue from Thailand because its readily available at most bazaars and festivals in Singapore.

We recommend getting the 1-litre Thai Milk Tea ($4) because it is an absolute life saver in Singapore’s crazy weather. 10/10 would buy again!

4. The6ixsRosti

I was surprised to find a stall specialising in rosti at Artbox. I had high hopes for this one as I saw a queue forming at The6ixsRosti.

Being the typical kiasu Singaporean that I am, I knew I had to try this rosti.

[caption id="attachment_34763" align="aligncenter" width="3589"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

We opted for the Spicy Rosti with Mozarella Cheese ($7) – perhaps one of my favourite purchases of the day.

[caption id="attachment_34762" align="aligncenter" width="3845"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

The rosti is pan fried to perfection. It’s crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spicy rosti actually had quite a kick to it, so if you can handle your spice, opt for the spicy rosti.

5. Thai Foodie Palace SG

I knew I couldn’t leave Artbox without getting any Thai Desserts. Just like any other basic Singaporean, I knew I couldn’t leave without trying the Mango Sticky Rice.

The cheapest Mango Sticky Rice I could find at Artbox was from Foodie Palace SG which sold a box for $6.

[caption id="attachment_34758" align="aligncenter" width="4032"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

I never thought I would ever have to pay $6 for mango sticky rice, but I can’t complain. Their mango sticky rice turned out to be pretty good. The mango was sweet and they gave us a generous portion of sticky rice as well.

[caption id="attachment_34757" align="aligncenter" width="4032"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

Safe to say, we wiped the entire box clean. It was the perfect ending to my food hunt at Artbox.

Cheap Cheap, Good Good

Besides the food, you can also explore more than 200 retail booths! Each weekend brings forth a different set of unique and creative lifestyle and fashion vendors from Thailand and Singapore.

6. Oasis:Skin

If you’re in need of a good skincare routine, Oasis:Skin is an all-natural skincare company that believes in delivering high quality plant-based products that can help people rebuild their skin barrier in a natural way.

[caption id="attachment_34768" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

They use 100% natural and high-quality ingredients that are carefully sourced from artisanal producers and botanical experts from all over the world.

If your skin is in need of some desperate TLC, then you should try out their face mists. They have several face mists that targets dry skin, oily skin and even sensitive skin!

[caption id="attachment_34770" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

They also sell clay masks for those “treat yo’self” kind of days. The masks are packaged in its pure clay form as it has a longer shelf life, and there is no need for any harmful chemicals to preserve it.

[caption id="attachment_34769" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

7. Common Touch

If you’re looking for unique and quirky pieces to place around the house, then you’ll love the ceramics by Common Touch.

[caption id="attachment_34767" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

Common Touch is a Singapore-based craft unit working together to create distinctive and purely handcrafted ceramic homeware. From different types of clay and combination of stains and glazes, each piece is hand-thrown and individually crafted.

[caption id="attachment_34764" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

You can also get hand-made jewellery at this store. If you know anyone who is a fan of minimal jewellery, then you should definitely check out Common Touch at Artbox!

[caption id="attachment_34766" align="aligncenter" width="1280"] Image Credit: Discover SG[/caption]

You can also find plenty of stalls around Artbox selling everything from tops and pants to tote bags and leather wallets. What’s more, you can pay by DBS PayLah! at most stalls so you don’t have to worry about running out of cash after all that shopping!

This year’s Artbox definitely did not disappoint. With a variety of retail booths and F&B stalls to choose from, there’s definitely something for everyone here.

Pro-tip: Carry and umbrella and wear comfortable clothes because our weather is extremely unpredictable!

Boys Over Flours – These S’porean Dudes Bake And Sell Cakes For A Good Cause

This time last year, I came across an Instagram account belonging to a group of all-male bakers who call themselves “The Four Baker Boys“.

I never really had a FOMO moment in my entire life until I met them. This baking club of theirs looked so fun and exclusive and for once, I wished that I was a boy just so I could be the fifth member of their club.

I mean, Spice Girls had 5 members. Just saying.

I had the pleasure of meeting these 4 guys last year at one of their charity bake sales.

Meet Qamarul (@theboywhobake), Syahid (@prettyawkwardpastry), Aidil (@daintycandy) and Lutfi (@bkosfood), the dream team behind The Four Baker Boys.

Saving The World One Cake At A Time

These four amazing guys give back to charity by utilising their specialised skill set of baking as a way to raise funds for their chosen organisation.

The first time I met them last year, you could tell that they were four VERY different guys bonded by their love for baking. Aidil, the brainchild of The Four Baker Boys, established a baking-only charity organisation in 2014 because there was a growing trend of male bakers entering the market.

[caption id="attachment_34638" align="aligncenter" width="1302"] Image Credit: @fourbakerboys[/caption]

They all started off as four individuals with a passion for baking but eventually joined forces to give back to the community.

When I went to one of their bake sales last year, they were raising funds for Majulah Community who were travelling to Aceh to help the victims who were affected by the earthquake.

[caption id="attachment_34637" align="aligncenter" width="2136"] Image Credit: @hfaszley_fotografia[/caption]

Their bake sales are typically held at 62A Arab Street. It’s a small but cosy space for the male bakers to all come together and set up tables full of bakes.

They’re also joined by other male bakers from a community called The Baker Boys Club. So you’ll meet other familiar male bakers like Arman (@armnrhmn), Muz (@mmuzs) and more!

[caption id="attachment_34636" align="aligncenter" width="1608"] Image Credit: @fourbakerboys[/caption]

Once inside, you will be given a box to stock up on desserts to your heart’s desire, proceed to the cashier and make the payment.

I especially love Syahid’s (@prettyawkwardpastry) tarts. If you’re a tart over cake kind of person, then you’ll love his Thai Milk Tea tarts which is usually available at the charity bake sales.

[caption id="attachment_34639" align="aligncenter" width="1300"] Image Credit: @prettyawkwardpastry[/caption]

You can also get huge cake slices from Aidil (@daintycandy). His Pengat Pisang cupcake is to die for. This cupcake is the perfect balance of something old and new.

[caption id="attachment_34641" align="aligncenter" width="1188"] Image Credit: @hfaszley_fotografia[/caption]

If you’re a cookie person, then you’ll love Lutfi’s (@bkosfood) cookies. He offered me a taste of his black pepper cookie. Which I initially thought was an extremely weird combination because cookies are supposed to be sweet but guess what, I still dream of his black pepper cookie till today.

You’ll be spoiled for choice because there’s just too many bakes to choose from. Be prepared to leave with two huge boxes if you’re craving for some sweet treats.

[caption id="attachment_34647" align="aligncenter" width="1956"] Image Credit: @hfaszley_fotografia[/caption]

Not only are the bakes pretty but they taste amazing too.

This all-male bake club has a simple concept which is to combine their love for baking to help others in need. So if you’re looking to meet the 4 guys behind Four Baker Boys and the Baker Boys Club, then look out for their future bake sales.

You don’t only get to satisfy your sweet tooth but you also get to contribute to a good cause and help others who are in need.

So guys, are you opening up a slot for a fifth female member anytime soon?

Enjoy The Best Of British Food At This Humble Hawker Stall For As Low As $3

As someone who grew up watching hours of Jamie Oliver and Great British Food on the Travel Living Channel (TLC), I’ve become quite enamoured with British fare.

Bear in mind that I’m talking about proper British nosh (food) and not just generic “Western food”. Singapore’s idea of Western food has always been very Americanised but now it’s time for British food to shine.

While there are a few establishments serving British fare such as The Queen & Mangosteen and Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, they’re not necessarily affordable.

But now, there’s a humble stall serving British fare in a hawker centre and my gut has never been more ready.

Lad & Dad

Introducing Lad & Dad, a father and son duo that’s blessing Singaporeans with the wonders of proper and affordable British food.

[caption id="attachment_34642" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Image Credit: Lad & Dad[/caption]

Located in local food haven, Maxwell Food Centre, Lad & Dad serves up classic British staples such as Bangers & Mash ($8) and Beef Stew ($10).

The Bangers & Mash is pretty straightforward. 2 bangers (pork sausages) sit nicely atop a bed of mashed potatoes, topped with onion and mushroom chutney and bathed in thick beef gravy. Absolute delish.

Now there’s nothing I like better than a bowl of comforting Beef Stew and they sure delivered. Generous chunks of carrots, potatoes, celery and tender beef cubes swim in a dark brown gravy and it’s served with a classic Yorkshire pudding on the side.

[caption id="attachment_34643" align="aligncenter" width="768"] Image Credit: Lad & Dad[/caption]

If you’re expecting an actual pudding, you’re sorely mistaken. Yorkshire Pudding actually resembles a choux puff in terms of taste and texture.

[caption id="attachment_34644" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Image Credit: Lad & Dad[/caption]

The ones made by Lad & Dad are crispy on the outside, and buttery and fluffy on the inside – the perfect tool to mop up all the gravy from the beef stew.

Of course, for a stall that boasts classic British fare, this isn’t all they serve. Other must-try dishes include their Bacon & Chip Butty ($4) and the English Fry-up Platter ($12).

The Bacon & Chip Butty sees thick cut back bacon, a hash brown (this is the “chip” they’re referring to) and an oozy fried egg sandwiched between 2 toasted, buttered buns. You can also choose to have scrambled eggs instead of a sunny-side up.

[caption id="attachment_34640" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Image Credit: Lad & Dad[/caption]

The result is an indulgent sandwich with varying textures – from the satisfying bite of the back bacon, to the crunch of the hash brown. You can add Mozzarella cheese to your butty for a dollar for that extra savoury touch.

Now, for the most impressive item on the menu, the English Fry-up platter. For those who don’t know, the English Fry-up refers to the full English breakfast. This isn’t for the faint-hearted.

[caption id="attachment_34645" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Image Credit: Lad & Dad[/caption]

Slices of thick cut back bacon, fried till crispy, pork sausages, homemade hash brown, fried eggs, cherry tomatoes, a side of baked beans, a toasted bun, and mushroom and onion chutney make up this platter. Come ready and come hungry if you’re planning to tackle this.

If there’s anymore room in your stomach after your meal, go for the Yorkshire Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream ($3).

[caption id="attachment_34646" align="aligncenter" width="960"] Image Credit: Lad & Dad[/caption]

Who are we kidding? There’s ALWAYS room for dessert.

If you’re looking for an alternative to the usual “Western food”, this is a good place to start.
